Assignment Task presentation specifics? (1 Viewer)

So my Chemistry assignment is due tomorrow, and its all done and good, but i just realised that one of the task requirements is quote 'Each part is to be in a clearly, labelled manila folder' endquote.

Firstly, what the hell is a manila folder (i have googled and don't see how this is better than a stapled lot of sheets)

Secondly, what could be the consequences of using a substitute for a manila folder.

If you live near USyd, I know they sell them at the newsagents for like 30c per manilla folder.
