Can't blame me for not trying... :p

I didn't put in school newsletters and commercial newpapers coz one was too late for me and the other sucks big money.

Our year made a contact list with everyone's mobile and home numbers/email addresses/home addresses etc, which will come in really handy if anyone wants to organise something like that.

For an assessment in yr 11 for IPT, some guys made a database of our year's info: phone numbers, addresses etc...I actually have a copy of it, and its the most brilliant thing, acting as my address book atm.

Also, after grad dinner i got all swept up in the "i'm never gonna see most of the ppl again", and promptly downloaded msn messenger (genius that i am, 2 days before hsc stuvac, so i became obsessed and thoroughly distracted by it... ). Anyways, its brilliant, have added on my list all my "maybe ppl" - those i like but rarely organise to see socially, so now can just say hello etc every now and then, or at least see their nicknames and remember who they are....So at reunion time you just need to compile everyone's msn lists ;)

Yeah, we have an address book too for our year (high school), and most people put in some ways to contact them.
They've missed one person, or maybe two, however. Didn't count them, but I know the person who missed out.

The problems arise when they start moving and forgetting about internet upkeep... :p since there's so much junkmail in hotmail and they only have 2mb space, it only takes a couple of weeks to fill up. A problem I face when trying to send email to friends.

"this recipient's mail account is full. Please remove the adress from the list and resend the messge" (repeat multiple times)
Should get them to make yahoo accounts instead. ;)

I should post some more Latin, eh? Some wisdom...

faber est quisque fortunae suae
Every man is the fashioner of his own fortunes

dum spiro, spero
While I breathe, I hope.

and some Latin for everyday life... :D

num mihi dolebit hoc?
this isn't going to hurt, is it?

nevtiquam erro.
I am NOT LOST!!

machina improba! Vel mihi ede potum vel mihi redde nummos meos!
You infernal machine! Give me a beverage or give me back my money!

sally forth to the Latin forum for more inspirational pearls of wisdom...

NP :D.

Out of curiosity, does "nemo me impune lacessit" (sp?) *really* mean "no-one can strike me with impunity"? One of my friends used that as his nick the other day when we were playing at a LAN cafe, he got whipped :D.

Highschool (and school in general) was fun through the ups and downs while it lasted, but that chapter is now closed.

I closed the chapter before i got my results, so by the time they came out, i didnt relaly give a shit anymore.

I feel a little isolated sometimes with the protection of highschool removed, but im definitely happier now than ever, the future is looking up and i cant wait for it

yeah, that's what it means, although I'm not too sure about 'can strike'...that would be interpretive, I think.

nemo - 'no-one'
me - 'me'
impune (adv.) - "with impunity"
lacessit (from lacesso, -ere, -ii, -itum) - he strikes, provokes

Always fidel?! Na, don't think anyone in that school does. :p

(fidel means to keep strictly to rules, loyal, honesty, etc.)
