I'm traumatised waiting for English feedback..... More than I would like I receive feedback 2 days before the submission with the teacher saying it's all good only for me to get a C. I can't even blame the teacher there are just too many people because when I stay back at recess the feedback is really good so it's just a matter of giving it at the right time instead of following everyone else before the assessments.
honestly, my teacher hates online feedback so whenever we have a task the lessons before that are just spent on feedback and we have to literally go to him during lunch half the time as well

Thanks for asking! So far I am half way the second last topic (Financial Mathematics, following the order of the syllabus). I am 1/5 of the way through Further Calculus Skills in Extension 1 Mathematics.

I think I am a bit cooked for Ext 1 Maths, there is still a lot to do. I still have combinatorics, Proof by mathematical Induction, more calculus and Binomial Distribution to do.

Nice! I wish I had that dedication, I'm going to need it at the end of this year
so, for extension are you at the start of year 12 syllabus? Idk induction is what people in our school were assessed on first term yr 12. And for advanced you are completely fine cause financial mathematics, i doubt is important for the engineering syllabus. Also probability wouldn't be too bad. How is the difficulty and processes in your opinion? I'm still doing the year 11 ext 1 syllabus and despite being pretty close to adv for certain topics its relatively interesting. I'm really excited to do induction and vectors from the year 12 syllabus after hsc. Your requirement for ext 1 is depending on which engineering stream you choose. At this point what major do you have in mind may i ask?

I think Mathematical Induction is important for aerospace engineering and any dynamic system in Engineering. But that is just speculation, for example, determining the time taken for a plane to take off with air resistance might require mathematical induction - not too sure though.

Is that what you are leaning towards for choosing next year?
