Don't worry I got marks like that for my essay in the 1/2 yearlies (I got similar marks to urs in the essays but got close to full marks for the rest...it cost me a lot of marks), get ur teacher to go through it with you and you will be fine and practice :) *hugz* It might be structure probs for u...it was for me, I usually get nervous and write all ova the place
Good marks for Crime (y) and the rest so if ur get ur essays up you'll ace it :)

I have a question. I thought my legal exam was made by the school coz it had the school emblem on the cover of the paper. But then i was talking to a friend about our legal questions and she got like exactly the same questions but she goes to a diff school. So now im thinking we mightve done the independent or catholic trials. For our exams, the questions were like about how human rights are protected in aus, natural justice and what is human rights is the first section. For crime it was about court personnel and what types of crime, court personnel etc. For family, it was about the law reflecting morals and ethics or sumthing.
So did anyone else get this paper? If so, can they please state whether it is the independent paper or catholic paper or whatever. Im a bit confused.
hey. We did independent, and those weren't our questions. So maybe you did CSSA.

Heres something funny about my consumer essay for all you consumer people
u know the "moorcock case"?
Well as I was typing i made a typo in my plan and put "more cock" instead... man i must have been tired or something lol
there was a question mark next to it and moorcock was written by the teacher.
Everyone couldn't stop cracking up haha
they were like "Joe should lose marks for being vulgar in his essay"
lol...i didn't do it on purpose :p

hYperTrOphY, if you got 3rd with 91%...what was first at your school?
Congrats on your final rank. Your legal class must be really competitive!
I'm not 100% sure what the people above me got. We have an extremely large cohort, so you often don't even know the people who beat you. In legal, there are almost 90 students.

M/C - 15/15
Short - 9/10
Crime - 24/25
Family - 25/25
Workplace - 25/25

= 98

Was absolutely stoked. I'm at Huratio's school - we've got a pretty good cohort of around 40 kids. Only three or four marks in the 90's though. I think we did a mixture of the independent, teacher's own, and some strange Law Society paper. I only hope the HSC markers mark in exactly the same way!

I'm going to fail my exam tomorrow, just so you all know. I knew I should have picked something else other than legal studies on the same line. I could have kicked butt in music or something. If only I could build a machine that could travel back in time.. Yes, I'd call it a time machine!
How'd you all go in your trials?

we did the independent paper.
... 87%. I know I got 23/ 25 for family... I think I lost my marks in the crime section, something about post- sentencing decisions. Meh, I'll be absolutely prepared for the HSC exams, which we have 4 weeks to do in, not just 2. But legal's just after English and just before maths in the HSC : ( . So much to remember for legal... LCMD for crime, consumers, family, human rights...

I got 93% which I was stoked about! It was a big surprise, so I'm still a bit excited almost a week later. I got equal first with another girl, and I think there are about 45 people over the two classes. Not sure what my final rank will be, but this result should put me in about top 3. Congrats to you all for getting through trials with such awesome marks!

I'm pretty happy with that. My teacher says we did the paper set by the legal studies teachers association or something. Anyone else do this paper?

Yeah thanks mate. Congrats on ur mark too! Who's Murf?
Actually the crime q's in this one were really good. They were so easy, the first 12marks were given away wayyyy too easily. I doubt the q's are gonna be that easy in the hsc. I stuffed up in that section though coz of the 6mark question on the operation of the courts. I interpreted it as the court heirarchy. Oh well....silly mistake, hopefully it wont happen next time.
