my hilux has never seen off road, its 5 seater AMPLE room, and doesnt look half bad, plus its not like every second car on the street is one (commodore)

OT: check out astra convertibles, pick up a good on 2nd for 12kish
looks like every other hilux getting around

and there are almost as many hiluxes on the road as commodores

and i bet your fuel consumption is about the same as a commodore anyway

why would you suggest an astra convertible, that is one of the worst cars getting around.

Depends what you want though,
I'm more of a safety focused person so I'd personally pick a Renault Laguna.
5 Star EuroNCAP.

Although something tells me that insurance is going to be a bitch.

In that case there's the ~2003 Toyota Camrys!
The Azura model, it's the safest and luxurious with leather and stuff.
AND GPS Sat Nav, haha.

You're less likely to want to race or hoon around, but then again it's a V6 so you still kind of can. And incase you crash you have like 6 airbags or something.
Insurance would be tame also.

just cause its a v6 doesnt mean its fast, my dads landcruiser is 4.2L turbo charged v6, doesnt go very hard, good for towing but !

+ u dont hoon in a camry, u will look silly

but i agree on the depends what u want. but also what you need. if u wanna go on long road trips with mates or somethign u wouldnt buy a 2 seater

sus some dealers, take a few test drives, decide what u want, dont narrow ur options too much, if a good deal comes up at least think about it
