    What are people's timetables like?

:D Well I'm very happy with how my timetable turned out! After going through the stress of fixing a timetable clash and changing a subject, that is. I have Mondays and Fridays off, Tuesday I have four lectures but a three hour break halfway through, Wednesday is my killer day with two lectures...

    Jostein Gaarder

Has anyone read any of his/her books? I read 'Sophie's World' in Year Ten or so and I recently read 'The Solitaire Mystery.' I especially liked the latter, it's truly amazing how everything sounds so strange and implausible, yet makes perfect sense in the end. As for the former..well it did make...

How much can I get penalised?

For the King Lear question, I was tired and misinterpreted it...instead of writing a one-person argument for OR against, I made it a two person argument, one arguing for AND the other one arguing against. I'm really stressing about this now...does anyone know what would happen to my answer in...

    Marks for project

Just curious...what did people get for their projects? Well after a rushed essay and bibliography and a journal filled with fudged entries, I was expecting to barely pass. But amazingly, I wound up with 38/40, which pushed my assessment rank up to first! :) I was shocked, but I didn't...

    iT's oVeR!

Yes! After completing my history ext work all in one night, one lunchtime and one free period, it is over! I handed it in and have resigned myself to the idea that my mark will probably be lousy. But no more Ned Kelly! Just have to worry about 4 u major work for the next two days....

What case studies are you doing?

We're doing appeasement for our case study. We didn't get a choice for ours...our teacher just picked it, hoping it might help us out in Modern. What are you all doing?

    History Quiz

Well, we have to revise for our trials soon people, or at least I have to do anyway...I came up with the idea of posting modern history questions here. If you know the answer, it will be an opportunity for others to test themselves here. If you don't, well, maybe someone else can help you out...

    The Benefits of Ancient History

Well I don't know about the rest of you, but my trials are fast approaching :( Soon I will be very miserable and wondering why I ever chose this subject in the first place (esp since the exam is the day after maths.) And I think that now would be a good time to remind myself and all you...

Is Modern History YOUR fav subject?

Well my Modern teacher isn't too bad and I'm doing pretty well in the subject. But for some reason...I still don't find it very interesting. I definitely prefer Ancient and Extension to Modern (yes I'm a hopeless history geek, I do all three :D ) What do you all reckon? Is World War One...

    H--e--l--p!

I've always been a procrastinator, but I promised myself that I was going to stop. However, with a bunch of assessments all on the same week, I panicked and didn't start a very important eco assessment due on Monday! (and I have to write an essay in class as well...) If anyone could give me some...

Anyone planning on going to the Modern History day at Sydney Uni? It's only $25 for four lectures-- not bad at all compared to some of the rip-off suggestions that I've gotten lately!
