Wait, are our student numbers already printed on the exam papers? Because I remember my head teacher mentioning something about how this year NESA has changed the rules and you have to have written your student number on all relevant sections before the time ends. Is this true?

maybe other ppl are more suited to answer this than me but this was the case in the maths ext 1 and 2 hscs, extra writing booklets were blank ofc, but the invigilators gave us time to fill in every page with our numbers after the exam time finished while they watched each of us (it took forever cause you had to wait till they got to you). it would be really petty if they just made it so you have to use exam time to write it cause then no way anyone finishes paper 2. its not like they're able to accept papers without correct numbering anyway.

Yeah I did an accelerated HSC last year they had me write my student number on everything after I finished the exam.

Is it normal to only study 3-5 hours a day for the HSC? I hear people on Tiktok and stuff studying for 8+ hours and that just sounds so draining that I’d actually die

It's a measure of your brain's slowness/fastness. "are you slow" is an insult towards someone's low IQ
I know that but those IQ tests are pretty arbitrary and all they test is pattern recognition. Intelligence is like a bunch of different things and can’t be simplified into a number. My parents have 'high IQs' apparently... my dad went to NSB before everybody took courses to pass the entrance test, but that doesn’t mean anything really bc he dropped out

the most i can hit is 6 i think these next few days ill try 7-8, anything more than 8 hours is an absolute no
8+ hours feels insane to me, even the concept of studying that much in uni. I feel that at some point the work you put in doesn’t amount to any benefits and just makes you tired... I noticed people who study Humanities study for longer amounts of time. I don’t study any content heavy subjects like those except Chem, which I’ve lowkey been neglecting lol.
