this is cruel but true most people who get above 17/20 dont really look at their feedback but heavily penalising mistakes is abit much girlokay but i don't take off marks without feedback. i just heavily penalise mistakes to try to reinforce the feedback. if i give 18/20, they won't even look at the feedback
HUHHHHH MY ESSAYS ARE LIKE 600I once submitted a eng draft wih 900 words and my teacher didnt even bother marking it cus she said its not up to her standards and shes not wasting her time
once we had this in class task and my teacher didn't even bother grading one of this kid's writing cause it was apparently that bad and then she yelled at the whole class for doing a bad job. #traumatising timesI once submitted a eng draft wih 900 words and my teacher didnt even bother marking it cus she said its not up to her standards and shes not wasting her time
the worst situation I find myself in marking as a tutor is either not able to understand the teachers reason in feedback or even worse ( which happens a few times) is I dont agree with the student’s teacher .for me. My tutor said that I deserved better marks but eh I'm gonna take that with a grain of salt cause that's clearly not what my teachers think lol
yea so that's what u heavily penalise them so that they look at the feedbackthis is cruel but true most people who get above 17/20 dont really look at their feedback but heavily penalising mistakes is abit much girl

that's why English is so subjective. I remember once one teacher gave this kid an 8/15 and then the other gave it a 12 or 13 and then they had to average it out to an 11the worst situation I find myself in marking as a tutor is either not able to understand the teachers reason in feedback or even worse ( which happens a few times) is I dont agree with the student’s teacher .
