haha... that sounds like something i would do! i think maybe your friend used too much acetic acid to rinse her pipette? my friend tends to do that. she fills the entire pipette with solution, instead of just a bit, to rinse. we corrected her. but anyways, my friend finished early, and so...

hmm... i think i've been watching too much CSI and related shows, and books. but something about the whole testing for things, going on hunch/instinct and finding that you're right, and that you helped solve a crime sounds pretty cool. except i think i'd be too paranoid to do a job like that
