Seeing as i asked the original question, i thought i'd mention that i got my teacher to ring up BOS, and basicly you can use whatever font and size you like, as long as it adds to your work, and you can make a strong point about this in your reflection statement. If you cant make a strong point...

Mmm yeah i know the basic ones, but what this suggested was that we can use other fonts if we can justify it. I also noticed that quite a few of the works in the standards package aren't in arial or times new roman.
