    Being late to lectures??

I had a tut in merewether, then tut in wallace, then a tut in merewether again last year. I was probably 5 minutes late for each tut. It was fine, no one ever said anything to me about it, particularly because I turned up puffed and sweating, so it was pretty obvious that i had a bit of a walk.

    Am confused about travel concession??

Umm they don't give concession discounts for yearly or quarterly tickets? duh. It's not worth buying a yearly ticket anyway. It wasn't even worth me buying a weekly one last year. going to uni three days a week for less than half the year isn't that expensive.

Enrolling in easy subjects on purpose

I had this same problem with beginners french in my first semester of uni. There were people that had lived in france, and studied french, yet did the beginners course because they didn't want to be challenged. I was one of the few beginners in my class and was so far behind everyone else. I...

    Subject Reviews (with PDF compilation)

Re: Subject Reviews (PDF updated 17/01/09) ANTH 1001 : Cultural Difference, An Introduction Ease 9/10. By far the easiest unit I did. I put the least work of all my subjects into it and got the best mark. They cover a few different area's, but you really only need to know two. There's a fair...

    them Sydney Trains moments

Re: them cityrail moments - One time I was going into the city for a night out and I was extremely completely and totally off my face. I had a can of elevate when the guard came round. He proceeded to give me a $600 fine for alcohol on the train. I then burst into hysterical tears and...

what's so bad about Bachelor of International and global studies?

They just say the compulsory subjects are really dry. Like kill yourself boring. And that they're too restricted. I've always loved history, but didn't want to actually study it because what do you do with a history major - teaching. And "I was too smart to do teaching". in my BA I did history...

what's so bad about Bachelor of International and global studies?

I was so desperate to get into BIGS this time a year ago. Thank god I didn't. My friends who are doing it hate it. They hate the compulsory units and half of them are changing out of it for straight arts anyway.

Good place to live at that is close to Usyd

I catch the train from Hurstville every day. It takes less than half an hour for me to get to uni, including walking time. It's like 25 minutes MAX from Hurstville to Redfern station. I wouldn't be moving solely because to save 10-15 minutes. It's not even far.

    Introductory Languages move too fast!

introductory french exploded my brain. It didn't help that they combined beginners and intermediate in the lecture and she's doing all this grammar and I'm just like... wtf the extent of my french vocab is bonjour. Plus pretty much everyone knew SOME french, like did it in year 9&10. I was so...
