its a close call between english and maths. both have parts that, for me, are completely irrelevant. I mean, i want to go into childcare. So, when on earth will i -analyse movies/poems etc - use trigonometry -use calculus - ever again care what a metaphor/simile/ and those other annoying words...

yes, your teacher is a bit....strange to say the least. of course you can study, there are definitions, theories, and plus the units you were taught. Maybe he only answered half of your question though. i know that you have to reflect on your own experiences for examples alot of the time, so...

wow, so many people with bad teachers mine is absolutely the best. he is a bit worried because he 31 - count them 31 - pips to help with for next year. lucky him And you know the best thing. I don't know if we all use the same textbook, but if you use the Heinemann Society & Culture book...
