I can’t be sure but turns out many unis raised Jan round 1 compared to December which sucks for many peopleJust wondering but does universities generally lower their cutoff for January round 2 compared to January round 1
Omg that’s crazy. It’s so competitive this yearI can’t be sure but turns out many unis raised Jan round 1 compared to December which sucks for many people
Thank you so much!!!!!I am here to help. Sorry for the delay though. Here are concise and hopefully helpful explanatory steps in setting out your plan:
First search progression plans for your specific program here: https://www.unsw.edu.au/student/managing-your-studies/resources/progression-plans.
After selecting, this window should appear View attachment 51410
Note that I am showing an example for Bachelor of Engineering. Select Term 1 of course and have a look at the correct progression plan that also looks suitible to the one you want, here I have attached more screenshots:View attachment 51411View attachment 51412
And this is an example pdf after clicking one of the links: https://www.unsw.edu.au/content/dam/pdfs/engineering/general/course-progression/2026-progression-plans/term-1/flexible-engineering/3707 - 1st Yr - Bachelor Engineering (Honours) - Flexble Engineering - Group 1 - T1 2026 Start.pdf
You can now go to the enrolment page and search the correct course code, such as PHYSC1121. Make sure to tick the box when enrolling. View attachment 51413
Now you can register for classes. Notice how the screenshot below shows one selected class for each type. One class for a tutorial, one for a lecture, lab, and so on. You get to choose which days to have them though, hence the many selections for each class: View attachment 51414
After completing these steps, you may submit an enrolment request for each term.
Hope this helps.
Thank you to @hellokitty48920 for showing me the progression plans. I would probably have had no idea what to do with out them.
The problem with my course is I don't understand what the disciplinary component of science is. Math 1141 counts for it but I couldn't find statistics major courses.I am here to help. Sorry for the delay though. Here are concise and hopefully helpful explanatory steps in setting out your plan:

I mean yeah. Cause there’s a ton of stuff u can do with it depending on what u major on. My mum did that but at usydis doing single commerce at unsw worth it
is accounting a good major or are there better optionsI mean yeah. Cause there’s a ton of stuff u can do with it depending on what u major on. My mum did that but at usyd
I hear that accounting is a reliable major, although a bit boring for some - it’s probably the commerce major with the most stable job opportunities and most versatile skillsetis accounting a good major or are there better options
I mean it’s alright. Apparently lots of people do it tho so idk. But maybe there are better options but they are more on the math side. But it might be Slightly competitive but that’s with every majoris accounting a good major or are there better options
whats the differencewhy can't they just do economics? what the fuck is commerce?
Eco is like eco eco. Like supply demands, those eco graphs and interest rate stuff where it has to do with the general economy. Commerce is like finance, accounting, etc and is like the more money based stuff and investing.whats the difference
