bruh im not pulling shit out of my ass wdym dawg what
Thats because its Western Uni: A basic uni thats equivalent to going to tafe
You might as well go to some mid-range uni like UTS instead

Universities like Macquire and Western are last-choice-option Unis

But people who don't get an option; don't feel discouraged because going to any Uni is better than tafe!

Who said I told them not to go

Can you not read? Doing english advanced and is incapable of synthesising information
Im just giving them a rather negative view on the topic so they can see both sides (But it wasnt my intentions to make it seem like a discouragement to attend wsu)

Wait so for wsu is there a written application or is it just that if u meet the grade requirements u automatically get in?
for early entry- from memory- it's just like your uac application (just put ur preferences)
your report will automatically be sent to them, you just need to attach documents you think might help. also considering you're only just starting year 12, early entry applications don't open for a while but keep an eye out. (ANU opens and closes very early so if you want to apply make sure you get the times right)

Well I can’t get into any other uni I’m jsut gonna study hard my law units that’s what I am passionate about finsh degree and it is what it is many successful lawyers studied at wsu for law
not tryna discourage u but imma keep it buck, in todays world if youre not from a go8 uni ur chance of becoming an actual practicing lawyer is close to 0%. if youre genuinely interested in practicing law better to gun for unsw or usyd to maximise ur chances

Big 6 law firms are quite elitist + they ask for ur atar but do whatever you want i was js letting u know, however, this only rlly matters for the very first job (which is typically the hardest to get). After that yeah ur uni doesnt rlly matter too much

😭😭😭 Yeah basically, but they put more focus on ur uni grades so even if you have an atar like 95 or sumn (which is relatively lower than what most ppl in law would be getting like 98+) then ur atar doesnt matter too much i dont think

what if ur atar is in the low 80s but u get in to unsw law via their gateway program (which requires no minimum atar)
I mean if u start tryharding during uni and get a very good wam + extracurriculars theyll probably question ur atar but i dont think theyd immediately reject you because of that. but for example if theres like another person who has the exact same credentials as you but they have a 99 atar they will most likely be chosen over you. its probably like the very last differentiating factor.
