Welcome to University life.

No early starts is great though. It's an absolute nightmare trying to get to uni during peak hour. Having that slight leeway is wonderful.

Timetable is the thing that shows which lectures and tutorials etc that you have chosen and are expected to attend.

I'm sincerely hoping this internship leads to a graduate role. Would be so nice to have something lined up well before I finish.

Thanks i likecats. Nah i started back in december. So straight outta uni and into work lol. I got a grad job as auditor at a mid tier accounting firm. Will be applying for big 4 in feb/march too. My pays shit lol but its a start

Still, any work experience is good experience. I think grad pay is almost always had to begin with, that's common no matter where you work.

Are you planning to stick with audit or go into a different division?

Wheres your internship?
Well my plan is to stick out auditing and do CA atleast. Than maybe do MBA and try my luck in investment banking but first step is getting big 4 audit. Ive looked into consulting and tax too but consulting is extremely competitive and tax i dont think is for me, well for now anyway that may change.

We have a newbie starting in our team tomorrow. A grad. Speaking of grads, grad pay does suck a little... but it only gets better. Im thankful that mine is higher than the grads but i guess thats because ive got 3 years exp. Although, i look forward to the day i get paid supervisor/management pay cos a girl gotta eat (and buy handbags and shoes). I have to finish my degree and start ARITA before that can happen tho

I dunno why... but im dying to go back to uni. Why are the breaks so long

A small business recovery and insolvency firm located nearish to Wynyard. We have some really good insolvency practitioners/operators and really punch above our weight when it comes to the types of jobs we get in

Yeah, they try to look past the fact that i still have 3 years at uni to go... I'm going to have to do the insolvency course before i finish (so i can be competitive and not terribly underqualified)... but its intense so i dunno
