7-7-7 (i wish i got a string) it was alright! BSIDE THAT FACT THERE WAS A SQUEAKY TABLE BEHIND ME esp. compared to that thread on paper two saying how there maybe transcripts and blaaah and i did one related for conflicting... which i thought was v. good! my other related had NO provocative or.. what was it... diverse(!) insights. not sure if i interpreted the idenitity and disruption Q properly in BR and FRANK.. OHWELLZ! ENG IS OVERRRRRRRRRR! (i still have eng ext, but i think paper 2 advanced is heaps harder than ext 1) yeeeeeee!

It's only this page that anyone's written less than 8...I wrote 6.5, 5.5 and 6.5, I generally write succinctly and have written quite small throughout. Did everyone else write large or something? How is it possible to write 10-12 for all of them?

well personally i thought this exam was alright not too bad not too good either. Module a (franky and bladey) : straightfoward question, i think i did pretty alright in this question, 13 pages module b (yeats) : weirdo questio, lets hope i answered the question alright and up to the standard of the hsc marker, 10 pages module c (julius caesar) : again straightfoward question that fitted my essay nicely, one one text though, wrote 11 pages overall hopefully all my essay are up to the standards and yeh NO MORE ESSAYS, EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im sorry board of studies, i do not care what you think, but i am telling you that 2 HOURS TO WRITE THREE ESSAYS IS NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree totally. However, AWESOME PAPER. I started with Module C and ended with Module A. Question for Frankenstein/Blade Runner was a bit weird but I worked my ideas into a pretty decent essay up until my second paragraph for Blade Runner (my essay for this module always goes intro, Frankenstein, Blade Runner, Frankenstein, Blade Runner, conclusion). Ran out of time in the end and the last paragraph was really weak and a little vague. Didn't conclude. Question for Kenneth Slessor was a miracle. Wrote a heaps awesome (hopefully) analysis and finished the essay, even if the conclusion was a bit dodgy. Would have liked to have written another paragraph on 'Five Visions of Captain Cook' but didn't have the time and didn't want to risk not writing enough for Module A. Question for Julius Caesar was the first question I looked at. I answered this one first because it was my favourite module so I was able to write a really well constructed essay and conclude it nicely. Didn't really like the question. Could answer well with the provocative insights part but didn't know what to do about the diverse part of the question so I chucked a few bits and pieces into my essay in hope that I answered it correctly. The entire paper makes me think that maybe the Board of Studies aren't horrible after all. Gives me hope for Modern History.

I wasn't too happy with my organisation, ran out of time and only got 7 pages in for the last section. Got ten in for the first two parts, and was pretty confident with section 1. Section 2 should be good and section 3 hopefully alright.

The paper was surprisingly easy though. I would have thought it wouldn't have been three straight essays, and/or they would have asked for three texts for section two, or worse - a particular poem.

Could have been much worse overall.

Not good, veered off from the question in all my responses (that's what I get for not memorising)

omg i thought provocative meant sexy as well!!!
LOL i thought that but then im like nahh can't be xD In one of my sentences though I went something like conflicting perspectives convey provocative statements provoking blah blah and then realised I used a bit of tautology there haha Mod A, interesting question but readily adapted so should be good (9 pages). Mod B, hmm I didn't like it so much that I chose to read the "extent" part quite literally and went I agree to a varying extent but for three of my paragraphs I actually criticised the whole remembrance theme because that's not what Slessor is about. Hopefully it pays off. (8 pages) Mod C well apart from the final lines of the last related, it wasn't so bad. Nice open question that didn't ask for anything specific so pretty happy there. (10 pages)

Overall I found the paper to be good.I wasnt expecting such an easy question for Cloudtsreet to be honest.Just disagreed and wrote my reading and how it conflicts the statement that was madeWrote 6.5 for Cloudstreet, 6 for History and Memory, 1.5 for Richard III and Looking for Richard D: Needless to say i procrastinated Richard because1) Its my worst Module2) The question didnt help with the fact that it was my worst module3) Had more to say about the restI'll lose marks for sure, hopefully that bullcrap essay from SoR I yesterday can pick me up!! Bahahahaha

I'm sorry, but 2 hours is more than enough time to write three essays.

'Oh the English paper was soooooo easy, wow, i wrote 20 pages, i got 20 out of 20 for each one. Excuse m while i just pull this stick out of my arse...' I mean, honestly, who gives half a rats about how many pages you wrote and how good you are. Ok, that's wonderful, but for the rest of us that aren't here to big note outselves, just be happy that it's alll over! It's awesome :D join me in bidding 'Hamlet', 'Franko and Bladerunner', and 'Ted Hughes' good riddence as we burn all our notes and folders in a huge pile and have a corroboree around it!

O.K.:Fay Weldon Pride and Prej. Stuffed it up. Big time, we didn't look at "identity" at all, had nothing to do with thr rubric, unfair to ask itCitizen Kane: What on earth!!! The film has nothing to do with perseverance, I doubt the writer of the exam has even seen the film3rd module Julius Caesar was fine.

2.5 pages, 3.5 pages, 3 pages, think I did well. btw I write small so I dont see how many pages as particularly relevant. Didnt like that bloody Franky and BR one though.
I'm with you - I wrote 3 pages/3.25 pages/3 pages for Frankenstein + Blade Runner, Hamlet, History + Memory (website) respectively. I have considerably small writing anyways. I was very satisfied with the questions. Was a bit daunting at first ('disruption', 'loyalty' - WTF?), but it integrated well with what I studied, and was pretty broad. At least there was no crap about feature articles, speeches or *shudder* interviews. Just straight-forward essays. Hoping for at least 70% overall in modules. WOOT! NO MORE ENGLISH FOREVER!
