if you let u=1/x, you end up with the same integral

can we use this somehow?

EDIT: am I mathematically allowed to do this? if so, what now :]

That's most probably because I was the one who asked you this.
lol, I remember now. I might start working on it again.
So far:
I=(0.25) S [ln(u-1)/(u-1)] f(u) du
= (0.25) S [ln(v)/v].f(v+1) dv
