I am doing "Julius Caesar" for the Powerplay module.

Everybody has to study at least one Shakespeare text... the list is
[X] Julius Caesar
[ ] King Lear
[ ] The Tempest
[ ] Hamlet (studied in conjunction with "RAGAD")

Likewise.

I also did The Merchant Of Venice in Year 8, and Romeo & Juliet and Richard III in Year 11.. (Also read Macbeth, Julius Caesar and Hamlet for my own amusement.)

Shakespeare is a category unto himself.

Shakespeare is a category unto himself.

Yep.
Actually, in the exams, when they give you your texts, such as In the Skin of a Lion, or whatever, in the Text type area, where there is Film, or Prose Fiction, they have "Shakespeare"

every single kid in advanced does shakespeare.
and they just mark the questions the same, when they are written, they are written to the same difficulty. its like everyone does diff AoS and stuff, its not only shakespeare that we do diff ones.

If you want my advice (which is rare) DON'T so King Lear. It is just like doing god damn drama but under the alias of english, which is unfare to the people who are only doing arts subjects cause they are compulsory! ie me... But if dramas your thing and you want to watch the same play/movie in five different ways, then be my guest!

I did Hamlet.

Quite enjoyed it actually, went and saw Bell Shakespeare's Hamlet and loved it.

Othello was year 11, didn't enjoy that as much.
