ok, im at knox and have a good histroyX teacher. i have two weeks until i have to hand mine in. if u send me yours ill get my teacher to mark it and send u back suggestions. at the same time u have to do the same with your teacher over mine.

I cant believe no one has JUMPED ON THE COUCH [tom cruise style] over this offer.. I would, but my MW is due on tuesday, and today would be the last school day for you to get your teacher to mark mine for me. I have sent mine away to university lecturers specialising in Aztecs [my MW topic].

Who not get your teacher (the actual marker) to give feedback, rather than going out of your way to get a different person to give you feedback.

its a damn good offer but i dont think my teacher would. already has like 20 to mark and offer guidance for and is stingy with them. if you can con your teacher into looking at mine i'd still be happy though =)

The reason our teacher wouldnt even look at any drafts is coz HE was the actual marker....thats weird how some schools allow teachers to check the actual essay and others dont coz it might influence or provide a disadvantage to other students when it all comes down to the same criteria and rules....it's not fair i tell u!

It doesn't disadvantage anyone, because your marks aren't placed within the state, but rather within your school. And since everyone in your school's in the same trireme, I wouldn't worry.

Yeah, but some other students would seek outside help. At least that way, everyone can get some assistance - and I think it also helps me progressively work towards something. Reading through my early drafts now, I can't believe how poor my understanding of my topic was.
