Hey holisdays, studying 6 subjects at once, no teachers, mind is aray :)

to Find the gradient of xy=c^2
I have a point, need the equation

is it y=c^2/x
dy/dx= 2c/x

or is it? y=c^2/x
dy/dx=vu'-uv'/v^2
2cx-c^2/x^2
=c(2x-c)/x^2 ?

Or am I horribly wrong? And just embarrsed myself in front of the greatest minds of NSW? lol

y=c2/x
=c2x-1
Just treat c2 as some constant when you're integrating with respect to x:
dy/dx=-c2x-2
=-c2/x2

Sub. in your x coordinate of the point into dy/dx to find the gradient and use the point-gradient formula to find the equation of the tangent at that point.
