Writing notes vs typing notes (1 Viewer)

I start year 12 soon like most of you guys and for all of year 10 and 11 I wrote notes and I didn't work out that well. However in year 9 I typed my notes and I did really really well but I'm not sure it will work in year 12. So if I do type notes for HSC, how you would you intend to do it. Like for bio, you would download the notes from BOS then that's your base and all but what do you do after aha. So my 2 questions are

1) Typing notes for HSC( it worked in year 9 but would it work in year 12)
2) How would you construct the notes after you got some base notes

writing if you cant control yourself from getting distracted
typing if your handwriting sucks and you can control yourself
