Make only one or two points per text with one or two techniques and examples to back them up.

Just a thought.

But then you worry about not including something GOOD - something the markers will say "wow" to.

Pick and choose. There is no way you can write everything you want to write for a perfect response in the space of 40 minutes.

Try to do running writing, that saves a lot of time. Writing on a slope as well.

I need to ask you people something...

I really need to cut down on my essay techniques.

I have 4 thesis.
I'me discussing up to 4 texts for each one.
How many techniques should I be using for each thesis?

My mind is blowing up.

I can't do that jhakka! lol :p
Arrgh...Besides, it takes me 50 minutes to write 6 A4 pages. But the HSC booklets have bigger spaces and margins, right?

Umm... taking out spaces between lines and margins, you'd be looking at 2 lines regular A4 per page with those booklets. :p

40 minutes for each section right. You could probably do section 1 in about 30 minutes which gives you an extra 10 minutes for section 3. Since you're in advanced you should be able to do this easily.
I ended up spending about 50 minutes in the trial on section 3 alone. You will still have plenty of time to do the rest of the sections.
