I use avant browser www.avantbrowser.com

Runs like Firefox, only on the IE engine. Yes, many people say the IE engine is crap but it means no display issues and you still get tabs. Plus the tabs in Avant are more functional (the browser interacts with the mouse more than Firefox).

I also use KaZaA Lite. It's much better than genuine K since it has no spyware or junk thrown in, but it's still KaZaA and the downloads are slow.

It would fall under the very very very very very basic system, but not to the point of Obsolete.

Your problem is definately spyware - as stated above.

To put it bluntly, when u installed Kazaa it installs all this hidden software that likes to check in on what you are doing, hence the name.

I suggest you download "Kazaa Lite", it still has spyware but less of it.

Or download "Spybot - Search and Destroy" and/or "Ad-Aware". I know it sounds like this is lagging up your system but thats the brilliance behind this software - you only use it when you need it.

* Hope i helped.

Yes but a little too late, and that's just reiterating what's stated from other peoples posts. You even said it too "as stated above". I don't want to accuse you for attempting to increase your post counts.
