Why is English the only paper without a choice of questions(other than maths!)? (1 Viewer)

I find it strange that English doesn't have a choice of questions, other than between modules. I know it's another question/s to write and mark separately but I know I would feel more secure if their was a choice.

Theres a choice of texts. A greater choice of texts then there is for optional topics in other subjects.
