i am jst recently interested buying a road bike mainly for fitness and the weekend ride so im not looking for it for racing?
would i be able to get one for around 400-600 range

hey can u give me some insite in these bikes that u would recommend for me.
Its like this if got a budget of 600 and under so im tossing between a road or mointain bike in the giant series.

So Ill be using it about 4 times a week for about 2 km each session Ive looked at this giant road bike with front bar of a normal mountain bike for 599 the crx4 it looks good but dunno if its worth it or should i be spending a bit more on a road bike
also what is the difference beteen a mountain & road bike in terms of strengths on your legs is it quite alot or should i just stick to my budget and go with the mountainive heard road are for longer distances and mountain used in recreacreational activities also what brand are top range?

2km each session? are you an amputee with only one leg?

I'm plannin on getting a road bike as well.

currently i do 10-12km every second morning before breakfast on my good ol Kmart Huffy i bought from 3 years back.

anyway, i reckon clarence st cyclery will probably help you the most. cant remember the site right now...
