How can you hate Elvis? I mean, I am not really much of a fan of his work (except Via Las Vegas :) But he influenced many of the gretest songwriters we know today.

'Akey - breaky heart' ............ does that answer your question. For one thing i hate anyone who has to resort to nonsense words to find a rhyme (scating is not included in this hatred)... Then there's the fact that he can't sing. And finnally i hate anyone who is overated and treated as a god, for very little reason. People say "Oh he was so good to his mother".

maybe so but that doesnt make him a musician by default, much less a great musician.

"he can't sing".

..I'd like to see you do better. I really would.

Either way, thanks because that gave me a good laugh.

i dont think he wrote achey breaky heart did he?
He wrote some of the most powerful popular music pieces of the 20th century (Love Me Tender, Falling in Love With You)
He revolutionised rock music.
He had an image that girls loved and boys longed to emulate.
Why cant you see that he is BLOODY RIPPER?
I <3 Elvis :D

Elvis was the origional artist that so many people based their work on. I respect him for that... but his influence created some TERRIBLE artists (i.e. the beach boys... shudder...)

Some of Elvis' music is classic though... you can't deny that :uhhuh:
