Hey!

Who is going to be at UNSW studying law next year?

Post if u r, and what you are combining with.

I'm tossing up between arts and commerce here!

I did two extension languages (french and german) and 4 unit english in the HSC, and I'd like to become a barrister, but I hear UNSW is better for commerce, and also that Sydney is better for barristers!??

dunno if i should do it.....
im a dumb ass who only got 98.25 and at the same time not a very well off family......such a hard choice for me

since u did heaps of artsy stuff, maybe arts might be better for u, esp. since commerce has compulsory accounting and other borin stuff

i'm tryin to decide between commerce and economics to combine with law. can someone plz help me fix my dilemma?? cos i loved eco at school, cept ppl say commerce is the more useful degree. but i wanna do an economics major either way, so is it just better to do eco??

also, the unsw website really confused me, cos a lot of teh time they discuss commerce and eco as if they're the same degree. on top of that, the compulsory 1st yr subjects are teh same

anyway i got an offer (transfer) but i don't know if i can be bothered to go through with it. that plus i really like my course now. that plus i'm helping out at USYD o-week and i'll feel bad if i leave.
and the bus ride from central will shit me to no end after 2 weeks. and then the stairs after i arrive...

well the title of the thread was a little misleading...

anyhow, i'm starting Arts/Law at UNSW this year...and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what is the cheapest way to travel to/from uni.

the whole travelpass thing is confusing...and it doesn't sound that cheap either...$1200+ for a yearly ticket.
