All the busses along George St go to the QVB (or terminate there) pretty much. They go like all the time. You'll get a few busses every minute usually, lol. If you're at Haymarket, then just walk down to George St, Haymarket bus stop and catch from there. Otherwise, there is a bus stop right outside UTS. I don't know the numbers, but its pretty much all the busses that go down Parramatta Rd and City Rd, and vice-versa, so ya pretty much all the STA city busses that go to the city.

There aren't many busses that take the back roads. There is a monorail stop right next to the Haymarket Campus at the Entertainment Centre which is right opposite Building 5, which goes up to Town Hall and close to the QVB, but it costs $4.00.

The bus will cost you $0.80 to QVB/Town Hall and a $1.40 to Circular Quay/The Rocks. Getting a travel 10 for $5.90 will mean each trip only costs $0.59 and you don't have to worry about cash. These are student concession prices. Double these values for adult prices.

422, 423, 426, 428, and pretty much any other bus that says "Circular Quay" on it.

I use the "feet" bus. It gets me there faster than anything driving through CBD traffic.

But yes, any bus passing the front of the tower will take you to Town Hall or QVB.
