I'm looking to buy some text books. I'm looking to buy all sorts of past paper compilations, second-hand cambridge maths book, second0hand physics books.

Basically, if somebody could reccommend bookshops that sell or specialise in student studies in the sydney areas i would greatly appreciate it.

Cheers

if you're a classical languages student, the ONLY place to buy stuff is Abbey's Bookshop in Townhall/Wynyard. I bought my Oxford Elementary Latin Dictionary there (for $55 - so broke now)...

other places which have a LOT of stuff is the three-level Dymocks in Townhall (near QVB)... Or, what you do is you find the book that you want online, note down its title, publisher, ISBN etc and hand that info to your nearest bookshop so they can order it for you (I think this service is free of charge)...

Anyway, any relatively-big bookstore should have all the books we need.

edit: also methinks there's a place called Basic Skills store in the upper levels of the Sussex Centre (in Chinatown) where they sell discount student texts. And for other textbooks try to ask your school teachers if they have copies.
