Depends what major you take.
im thinking majoring in physics or maybe advanced maths?

There is lots of career options after doing the science degree like you said in Physics and maths.
You can get a job in engineering field and also you can work as a teacher in a University.
Research Mathematician is also option here.

A science teacher at my school used to be a researcher but she wanted better job stability so she chose to teach science instead.

It's quite judgmental though, even though I think that as well.
Nonetheless, if you're interested n something like that => you will do well in it => success.
Hi, It would depend on what you would you want to specialise in within the science degree. At UWS, our Bachelor of Science allows you to major in Biological Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematical Science, Nutrition and Food Science and Zoology. i strongly recommend visiting www.uws.edu.au/handbook and explore other degrees beyond science jaechen.
