is it any beneficial to refer to E=hc/ lambda to show how the wavelength of light and hence colour is dependent on the difference in energy levels? Or shud we just avoid any Phys all together?

My chem teacher always said "leave the physics in physics!" or something. Also keep in mind that if you mention physics stuff and say something that is wrong you will lose marks
