stupid question, but whats the difference between carbonic acid and carboxcylic acid?

Carbonic acid has the has the forumla H2CO3 whilst carboxylic acid has a COOH group in it.
I suppose carboxylic acids would have a higher bp as well as they are more polar and form hydrogen bonds.
