i just wanna see the popularity of whos doing wat course


im thinkin of doin software engineering at unsw or either aeronautical at usyd

Internet Science and Technology or
Medical Radiation Phyiscs

all at the University Of Wollongong.

The receptionist at the doctors' made me have a more serious think about Medical Radiation Physics as she said jobs are easy to get in radiography and as long as you don't work at a government run place, you could be getting $ 90 000 pa. Plus, I liked Physics in year 12, so it is worth a look.

So far, it looks like I'm doing Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at Sydney UNI. The cut off last year was 89.25, and I got 92.00 ...so, I should make it in.
(But I'm not sure...does anyone know anyone who does this, and what they think of it? Or have any ideas yourself about why it may be a good or bad choice? )

am putting down arts as one of my top 5 preferences both at UNSW and Syd uni. I reckon Arts is good. You can study a range of things but then i guess i don't mind arts coz what u can study in the degree interests me.

I'll probably do arts if i don't get into my first preference

I wanna do a combined Commerce/Arts degree (at this stage, either at UNSW or USyd)

Arts is really general, but then it allows u to discover what u actually wanna do, and after u know this, u can specialise, or even transfer to a course of your speciality

Although I really wanted to do B design at UNSW. Missed out by 2.3 and the local full fee paying is much too expensive.

i wud do commerce @ Usyd, only the extra bus ride from Central is just 2 much 4 me!

im thinking about doing a combined degree but i dont know because it involves staying at uni longer. the limit for me is 3 years and then i wanna get out into the real world.

is anyone else worried about distance. i want to go to Campbelltown but its wasy too far (i live about 1 hour or more from the campus). its a course that i really wanna get into but i dont want to wake up early and get home late (esp at night by train). can anyone give me some advice as to whether i should go there?

You'd have to pay me a little more than that to stand in front of Xrays all day, real smart


Im thinking of Arts or Lib Studies at Sydney. Wither way, my Arts major would be Pholosphy or Italian

thats so true!! arts @ syd is my 2nd preference and i really want to do it!! My 1st is Radio at CSU but i dont think i will get into that.. so arts here i come! unless of course the UAI goes up from last year by about 8 points.. then i wont get in!!

Sydney has the largest selection of majors, i know that for a fact. What majors can you do at UWS that you can't do at USYD?
