TL;DR Questions on what to do, SCA, COFA or Gap etc

As with many others i have a rough idea of what my UAI is going to get me to... hopefully but i was just wondering what everyone thinks i should do and if anyone has some better insight for me into this

i've been researching for a while and have come up with my relative options
my reason for going to uni is to expand my artistic skills and range of medium as well as challenge myself conceptually

the coarses i wanna get into are either:
B Fine Arts - COFA (3 year major) - college of fine arts - UNSW
B Visual Arts - SCA (3 year major) - sydney college of the arts - syd uni

- COFA is highly reputable and has great facilities but is a focus on both theory and practical equally (am fine doing but would rather more prac)
- SCA has less favourable facilites and rep but focuses on prac over theory whilst still offering theory (slightly more appealing but harder to get into)

being the person i am i never really plan to make alot of money and currently don't have a well paid job, so my question to you BOS is...

should i go to COFA or SCA? and why? should i go right away or take a gap year to arrange a fair paying job so i don't have to mooch of the parents for too long?
and lastly for any of those already there or who know about them is it worth going?

i know this was very specific and long but i will make it up to you by letting you ask whatever you want in similar subject matter ..eg should i go to A or B why etc etc

thanks in advance
