It's that time of year again.. time to BUY some REAL books. I was thinking about getting the Dark Materials trilogy.. i've heard alot about them but never got around to reading them.
Are there any new great books that i should consider?

(i work in a bookshop - lol!)
there is a new book called 'between a rock & a hard place' by aron ralston - its a book about how he was trapped under a boulder by his arm, in the middle of nowhere, and what he had to do to survive. i've heard its heaps good.
also the new fake travel book by the guys from the Panel - 'phaic tan'. its looks really funny!

just a few ideas - those 2 books are books i really wanna get! hehe hope you find something!
