Hey guys,

What marks would i need to be getting in past papers for a band 6 in general?
Do you think with so many people doing it and it being easy it would be 90+
Sorry, i just can't find raw mark info anywhere.

Thanks,

I am also curious to know the answer to the above, and also the mark needed for band 5 in General?

No way haha. If that were the case; 100's of people would be getting state ranks. I would think, albeit subject to difficult, around 87 ish.

its not 97+. It'd be high 80's for a band 6, like around 87.

It will be in the 80's for a band 6, not to be rude but there is ALOT of people in general maths who suck at the simple things. So those who do well naturally get their mark scaled.

Too bad you couldn't have taken the test at my school. I got 72% for CSSA General Maths and came first in my cohort. Mind you, I was also sick that day so I probably would have gotten significantly higher had I not been.

But with 75%, you would've come first easily on the day, as opposed to 8th place.

Was mark was 1st place at your school then?
Just curious is all.
