Survivors by Zion Ben Jonah,

At least it's free and written on what makes a great substitute for rolling paper.

I didn't mind wuthering heights...*bias* I am playing Emily Bronte for my major drama work..*whistles*

I preferred the Princess Bride film...and not JUST because of Wesley and Ewles who plays him....I probably spelt that wrong..*sigh*

STILL HATE EMMA. HATED IT BEFORE THE HSC AND STILL CONTINUING TO HATE IT WITH PASSION NOW.

I really, truly, greatly dislike The Lovely Bones aswell. I respect the author, its well written. And I read the whole thing..but it all got a little too much for me. I think, really, I'm getting a little sick of cliche happy endings.

not only because it makes working class scum think that they are somewhat intellectual, but also it is horribly written. no cohesion. sensationalist ideas and plot (stolen). no character development... much like this sentence in fact.
much hate to audrey tautou for selling out and breaking my heart.
So true! People like Dan Brown can't write for shit, but they know exactly how to conceal this from the audience: give them something that seems mind-blowingly logical, creative, whatever, add lashings of romance and a new twist on every page, and they suck it in so fast that they don't have time to realize the stuff they are reading is shit.

*The Chocolate Wars, and sequel
very bad writing that had T S Eliot turing in his grave for his quote being included in it

*Wuthering Heights - just could not get into it, to disturbed in a seriously stupid way

Anything by Jodi Piccoult. The woman is a shit writer.

Her thought process when writing a book:

Googlesearch: tragic issues

<Insert Tragic Issue here>

<insert flowery, romanticised text>
<300 pages of drivel that eventually begins to examine the issue at hand>
<Tragic death, divorce, injury to insure that tragic issue is swept under carpet>

Jodi Piccoult makes a million dollars.
