Given that you are all to some degree rather dull in terms of what instruments you actually play, I shall now announce that I play the bagpipes. My band won the South Pacific Championship this weekend, I have played for John Farnham and shall soon for Paul McCartney.

Drums, trumpet and a bit of keys. Best at trumpet, but drums is my favourite by far.

Favourite styles to play: Funk and Jazz (also favourites to listen to, fancy that!)

I can play the piano. But i stopped lessons in yr 10 cause my teacher was forcing me to do so much work ... i remembered that she yelled at me for getting 99 in an exam ... i was like wtf  99 is pretty good ... but now my mum wants me to start playing again cause the piano is sitting in the study collecting dust.

The poll probably should have been classed by instrumental family - Strings (guitar falls into here, as does Violin, VCello etc.), Keyboards (including Piano), Woodwind (Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone), Brass (Trumpet, Tuba etc.), Percussion/Pitched Percussion (inc. Marimba, Tubular Bells, Timpani). And of course, Voice.
AMEN TO THAT!!! i play clarinet, trumpet, piano (teaching myself), and i did voice 4 my hsc. peace out :)

do we need 3 options out of 10 for guitars and 2 for bass?

I play bass, electric.

Acoustic? wtf? yes, there are acoustic basses, but they fall into the same catagory as electric bass.

Unless you mean double bass, which is a different kettle of fish to the electric.

And I also play piano, guitar, drums and clarinet.

I can put up with the shorthanded way you wrote that, but the lack of any punctuation I found downright offputting.
