In the actual exam, do we use HSC booklets? How does it work? Do you have to start a new booklet per question or something?

Im not worried about my exam. Im worried about wasting a few minutes at the start working out how it works. It could mean not getting a few marks in Q 7 or 8. :(

each booklet has number of pages eg 4, 8, 16. for every question you must use separate booklet at the end of the exam you must have minimum 10 booklets or more. if you could do at all q 10 you must still write you number q number, so the BOS people wont feel guilty and think that they lost your paper.

Fatmuscle, are you serious or kidding? Why would we need a piece of string?

Also, do we REALLY need a protractor? They not going to ask us to measure an angle, will they?

You'll never know what will come in handy.

Though I think the pieces of string were more useful for the School Certificate. :p

Since he mentioned not anything about a calculator, I guess fatmuscle must have had an implant, you cheat! :D

you don't really need protractors and strings.

what you should get is a template with the curve y=x^2, coz you probably will have to draw a parabola for 2 unit.

piece of string - incase your pen breaks?

lol I dunno why I put that. i was jsut listing the contents in my pencil case. (which still hasn't been cleaned out since i finished my HSC 2 years ago.)

but as james said, more useful in SC - the geography part. Dunno about HSC geography though.

protractor - incase you would like to draw a diagram to scale?

BTW, if did forget one VERY IMPORTANT ITEM!!!

CALCULATOR!!!!!!!!!
