water tests and metal ion tests
wat do we need to know for them
do we just descibe them?
coz i cant remember them there is too many help please....

water tests, do you mean like turbidity? dissolved oxygen, pH, TDS, etc?

the tests are all in the text book it shouldn't be too hard to remember, we do need to learn in though

off memory i think
turbity- use the streamwatch method/ or observe scattering of light when u pass it through water

TDS: measure conductivity...dissolved ionic solids--> mobile ions we can measure

BOS: taking a sample, measure O2 contnt, add nutrients, incubate, measure Dillsoved 02 again. Subtract initial from final measurements to give BOD
