heres a question for u...(which i am unsure about)

Rikardo drops a tennis ball from 4.4 metres (supposing its a free falling object) how long will it take to hit the ground?

i used this equation,

d=ut+1/2*a*t^2

where d=4.4, u=0, a=9.8m/s^2.

i got 0.948s, can sumone verify this please?

i guess heaps of people will take too long on questions since you would stay on it until you got the matching answer
