UWS Day (1 Viewer)

I think it's on next tuesday or thursday. Not too sure but yeah there are lectures at Universy of Western Sydney. My careers adviser was telling me about it today, and so i registered. There are 4 sessions and it won't cost a thing. Anyone going? For those who are going, what sessions are you going to?

The workshops/seminars I'll be doing are:

1) day in the life of a physchologist
2) nursing and midwifery
3) pathways to secondary teaching
4) health sciences

I'm also curious to know what everyone else is doing and to anyone who has gone previously- did you find it helpful at all?

I FAIL. I don't seem to have my registration thingy saved somewhere, but I went to my careers advisor and she said it will be fine. :\ So...I have no idea what sessions I'm going to.

Something to do with business, music maybe, education...

Tuesday session. I think for one or maybe more of mine are in the purple room? xD LAWLS.

I went to the UWS open day (mandatory school excursion) and they had workshops on scholarships, engineering, health care... everything was for free. It sounded brilliant and I was excited to learn about future career prospects but I must say, there was a reason why they were free. The workshops were badly prepared and not informative. For scholarships, it was a speaker talking about the kind of scholarships you could get (it was pretty informative so it's the exception), for virtual 3D design it was a very simple powerpoint with a speaker talking about green screens and for biological sciences, we were just shown around a biology classroom. It was kind of disappointing but maybe these new workshops may be better.

i have know my seminars, but i cannot remember my rooms =='
but the strange thing is- i did request for an email to be sent but i never received it. GAH SO ANNOYED ABOUT THAT! ><"
and it seems it didnt just happen to me either. it happened to one of the other girls too
did this happen to anyone else?

yeah it happened to me too. I just re-registered though and got an email.
