does not paying the Service fee $202.50 by the deadline mess up ur enrolment?

i certainly hope this is not the case. but a few people have told me this.

i paid mine 4 days late.. it wont mess up ur enrollment unless you leave it for a month or seomthing.


try pay it before uni starts.

lol. Na make sure you pay it before the HECS census date (end of August) otherwise they do have thr right to de-enrol you, which is bad .

can someone please explain why we have to pay accomodation fees? i think it's ridiculous, like i mean i'm all for helping with uni funding and stuff, i don't expect to go there for free, but to be paying for accomodation when we're not living there is kind of weird dontchya think

Taking away the physical aspect, it's to make living on campus cheaper for people who for one reason or another can't live at home while studying and can't afford third-party accomodation.

However, UTS buying up those swish apartments on Broadway seems a little wasteful, especially since they could have got some cheaper apartments and accomodated more people.

Yeah, I was thinking of moving there actually...but still no plans, since I might not even be at UTS next year. If I am I'll definitely be living closer to the city.

The apartments are nice but the bedrooms are a little tight - no room for books and things. I'd like more shelving.
