Very fun game. Basically, you start off in a quarantined city containing a zombie infestation. You can start as either human or zombie. For gameplay reasons, you can switch between the two sides - if you get killed, you can play on as a zombie, if you are a zed, you can get revived by other characters.
You have 50 action points max, refilling at the rate of one every half hour. You use up this pool by doing things such as walking between city blocks, attacking, searching for items, standing up from undeath, etc.
By browser based, you actually navigate the city using IE browser buttons.
You may wish to read the UD message board, unless you want to accidently run out of action points in the middle of a zombie horde, or want to make an intelligent choice about your starting class (trust me, scout or consumer are worthless early on!).
