Do you think I have a chance of being accepted into UNSW Combined Law with an Atar of 99.25 (2009 Cut-off 99.4)

yes, you'll get in.

edit: based on the general experience/trend of unis bullshitting their cutoffs by a few points.

If not you can do an internal transfer at the end of first year, either way you should be fine doing law eventually. When do cutoffs come out?

^A few friends received a UAI/ATAR of 96/97 last year and with the assistance of EAS, were able to get into UNSW Law.

Sometimes it just depends on whether or not you're lucky.
The 2008 cutoff for combined law was 99.3 (which was my uai), but then it went up to 99.4 for 2009 admission, so i missed out.
If you miss out too, just enrol in the non-law degree you're planning on doing and complete your first year and meet the WAM requirements, which i think is 70 given your ATAR, and you will get a spot. Don't stress

:)
Yes - it could go down this year by a bit.

Remember, there aren't many people with a UAI over 99. Then, out of all those people, only some applied to UNSW. And out of those people, only some applied for Law.

You should be okay :)

it would? so do you think 99.3 has a chance of getting in?
