depends on many factors but I found making uni friends much easier and despite what people say about international students I find they are really chill to get along withyou need to add the inner west as well
does the same apply to elite private schools as well (scots college, sydney grammar, etc). legit if the selective school nerds are still continuing this i doubt they would be able to communicate with others in the workforce (if they ever plan to get full time employment)
it seems the 'leftovers/miscellaneous' arent together
i honestly thought making friends at uni is easy bc once u join uni, you're in the same position as everyone (in some sense) as in the fact that you dont know most ppl and they dont know u either and then through lectures/tutorials/labs/student societies/sports teams you meet others and make friends with them
it seems that making friends in hs is much easier than uni
the selective circlejerk has been covered which i agree mostly but still in my field atleast (maths/ed) most are quite chill
Probably more prevalent in law/bus/eng which is why ironically dont have many friends from those fields
