Hi,

just wondering if it is possible to transfer from southern cross uni to usyd in 3rd year? my uai was 96.3 (i'm only in first year this year)

Also, if it is possible, if i graduate from usyd after 3 years at SCU which uni will be on my degree?

thanx

yes it is possible to transfer uni's after whatever year just as long as you satisfy the cut off...

once you transfer, you sever all your ties with scu and you will graduate with a usyd degree.. that is if you get FULL advanced standing credit on units you have already done!!

to expand on what jlh said, there are certain requirements to graduate with a usyd degree...ie u must complete a certain percentage of credit points from usyd to graduate there..this could mean an extra 1 or 2 years

well you know you could transfer to another uni that offers economics without the higher cut off... eg go to macq and use their internal transfer policy to do b.economics...

84.65+99.6 (HD)/2=92.125......that would be ur new "UAI" for ur NRSL mark.....and depending on the cutoff for BEco at ur particular uni which is gonna be probably lower then the original cutoff, but not defenitly.

And HD is like almost impossible :(

Is there a list of recent NRSL cut-offs?

not really...I got 3 HD's in 1st semester last year, basically coz I didn't know what to do and probably overdid it.

And uni's don't really release the NRSL cutoffs, you'll have to enquire at the uni's themselves.
I know Sydney Uni and UNSW's combined law cutoffs, but the uni's dislike us making this sorta stuff public for some strange reason

That is really good. I would have thought (from the way santaslayer explained the recalculation of your UAI) that doing that would be impossible:eek:.
