UMAT is on Wednesday, and I thought I'd start a thread with a few tips...

-READ FAST! Anyone can eventually get the questions; UMAT is about the speed at which you can answer.

-The first answer you think of is probably the right answer. I've heard that hesitation and overthinking is a big problem.

Anyone got anymore?

I've looked at past papers and they have some very tricky questions. Make sure you have a clear mind and get a good night's sleep.

On the Day of the Exam

Wake up early, however, as Riviet said, make sure that you sleep well the night before. Go for a walk or a jog to get your brain working. Have a decent, nutritious breakfast. Dress comfortably and bring a jacket or a jumper with you so you don't get cold during the exam.

Ensure that you have:
-your admission ticket
-your photo ID (look at the UMAT booklet to see what ID you’ll need)
-your stopwatch or timer
-an eraser, sharpener and one or two pencils
-a drink

Leave early to allow for traffic delays. Be sure to have all these things planned before the actual day so as to ensure that you get their on time and don't forget anything vital.
