It's to differentiate between people who have the same surname and the same first name initial.Why is it that some poeple only come up as their 1st/2nd initial and other people come up with their full name...like first, middle, and last name?
Using course codes instead of key words might be more effective in this case.nice stuff, and i applaud whoever designed the database.
one thing i suggest to be implemented in the future (or now) is if one searches for X, results for all degrees including X is there.
eg. if i search for "B Law at ANU", the search results just churn out a list of people who got into B Law, but not B Law combined with something else.
