ok, i'm kinda confused. What's the difference between the UAC PIN and the UAC number????

coz, i got my uac PIN in the mail, and it's 4 numbers, but i've heard people talking about their uac NUMBER that's like 9 numbers long. Where do i get my uac number from?????

or maybe i've already gotten it, and i just need to check.....

hmm.... i'll go and check now

The UAC number is your BOS student number with a 1 in front of it (or a 10 if your student number is seven digits rather than eight). You enter in your UAC number and your UAC PIN to log in.

you probably need to check your letter again. put a '1' or '10' in front of your normal hsc student number. that's your uac number. your pin is whatever they gave you in that letter they sent you.

From the UAC website:

2007 NSW HSC applicants
If your Board of Studies student number has eight digits, your UAC application number will have an extra 1 in front of it. If your student number has seven digits, your UAC application number has 10 in front of it.

For example:
Student number UAC application number
16999999 116999999
1324567 101324567

Source: UAC
It was actually on the website? lol. Maybe i should take a little look at it some time.... =P

How informative. :)

how come you guys have your uac pin, but no number? your uac number is just your hsc student number with a '1' or a '10' in front of it, depending how long your sstudent number is. if one fails its the other.
